Prices and Booking

Below you will find prices for the services offered. Rates are shown on a daily basis offering more flexibility: courses and guiding can be made for any dates, pending availability. The prices are also shown on the individual pages relating to the services offered.

• For individual Tuition: Beginner EPC and CPC training for pilots with their own equipment: the cost is 260 Euros a day for one student, 230 Euros a day each for 2 students.

• Pilot-Development and Progression tuition/coaching and Fly Guiding: the cost is 200 Euros a day for 1 pilot, 180 Euros a day each for 2 pilots and 160 Euros a day each for 3 pilots.

Please Note: With Pilot Development/Fly Guiding the 200 Euros a day is charged when 2 flights or more are made, unless we are on a long Fly Guiding flight. 1 early morning flight would equate to 1/2 day.

If 2 instructors are required during Pilot Development/Fly Guiding for launch and landing assistance the day will automatically be charged at the Beginner 260 Euros a day rate. As shown above.

• Winter Pilot-Development and Progression coaching is 200 Euros a day per pilot. The costs reduces pro-rata, as above with more pilots: please ask?

• We have available radios and helmets with internal speakers for rent. 10 Euros a day.

All flying service charges shown are for local flying in and around the Chamonix Valley and include transport to and from all the drive-to launch sites and all retrieves, but not cable car costs!

Please Note: An additional charge of 40 Euros a day that covers extra transport costs is made for trips to places like Annecy: this cost is split between all clients in the vehicle. There could also be additional Annecy Navette costs to the upper flying sites: normally (2022) 7 Euros a time.

PLEASE NOTE: All exact training/flying dates require booking. A 25% non-refundable deposit should accompany the booking: this can be made in Euros via bank transfer or Visa or Mastercard.

Please make the final payment ideally in Euros cash, or by arrangement using a bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard at the end of your stay.

The final amount will be calculated on complete days or part days depending upon the weather and flying/work completed. You will not be charged for days that are not flyable/workable.

With beginner instruction most of the flying is made in the morning when two instructors are required. Afternoons are used for ground handling and/or classroom work.

During beginner training courses there is classroom work for exams to complete and poor weather days would be used for this training.

Please Note: once booked you are liable for the full cost if you cancel within 30 days of your booked dates or depart partway through your booked dates for whatever reason, work, personal or health etc.

For reasons unforeseen and you need to change your dates, this could be done 30 days or more before your booked dates. Please contact us directly by email.

We accept old fashioned cash in Euros, Visa and MasterCard or bank transfers.

A credit card number with expiry date and 3 figure security code. There is a Credit Card payment charge of 1.0% made on payments for discounted or second hand equipment.

For security and if you prefer please call us with your credit card number.

Please make sure you have travel/cancellation, medical and repatriation insurance + the appropriate cover for flying.

If you are a European citizen bring an EHIC card. A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment if it becomes necessary while you're in a European Economic Area (EEA) country.
